Chrome, the new Google browser, was released yesterday as a beta version for Windows Vista/XP and officially entered the browser war, where the primary competitors are currently Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Chrome offers many interesting features, aimed at making the browsing experience more robust, more secure, and faster. Lightstreamer, with its eight-year history, is the leading push server for live data distribution through the Web. Based on the AJAX/Comet paradigm, it is able to deliver real-time data to very normal Web pages, without painful plug-ins or downloads. Google's Paul Rademacher, HousingMaps.com Creator, Featured at Real-World AJAX

Paul Rademacher (pictured),  creator of the HousingMaps.com mash-up, which combined Craigslist and Google Maps, is a featured presenter at the Real-World AJAX Seminar.  Paul holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UNC-Chapel Hill, and worked as an R&D Engineer at Dreamworks Animation on such movies as Shrek 2 and Madagascar.
